CHARITY AUCTION & BOOK LAUNCH

Le 'Welsh' Man's 24Hour: 24 paintings by Bedwyr Williams

VIEWING: 21 May from 3-6pm & 22 May 12-4pm

AUCTION: Saturday 22 May, from 4:30pm, Enjoy Public Art Gallery

On 12 February 2009, Welsh artist Bedwyr Williams completed 24 paintings over 24 hours, in 24 Wellington locations — in the pouring rain — as part of his One Day Sculpture project. Enjoy is excited to announce that these 24 works on canvas will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to charity, to celebrate the launch of two new Enjoy books: the eponymous project catalogue, Le 'Welsh' Man's 24Hour, and Tea Time, with Ron Dixon, Don Driver and Maiangi Waitai.

Each of the 24 works appear below, in chronological order, and each is accompanied by a copy of the project catalogue. Contact the gallery for more info or for phone bidding options.
